:: Squarefeet – Fat Feet

Squarefeet offers highly psychedelic blend of electric sound arrangements and organic sample audioscapes on his debut EP. On 'Fat Feet' vocals and organic instruments ride on a frisky basslines echoing influences from breaks, worldbeat and even dubstep.

Squarefeet is a project by long time producer Pepe Kosminen. Having his roots deep in the Finnish forest trance scene but branching his projects and productional skills over the genre boundaries Kosminen, with his power disco performance, has made the dancefloors around the world from Finland to Japan and from Israel to USA. Kosminen has worked on many projects on his musical career, most notable ones being Squaremeat, Flying Scorpions, Nano Buds and O-men. Besides Exogenic Records he has releases on Nephilim, Blue Room, Novatekk, Spirit Zone, Faerie Dragon and Antiscarp.

Check out as well Kosminen´s recent project Lightaman Jr. with the debut album 'Rollator' Race, coming out 28th of November on Japanese 6Dimension Soundz.

On the next Vishnudata release the ethereal Silver Falls is turned up and around by Accu and Jimi Python and Mellow Dog Society. The release features as well a radio edit of the original track.

The party engine band Accu turns atmospheric Silver Falls into disco glittering dance floor funk and Jimi Python leads the track to Silver Falls on a breksy path.

Mellow Dog Society remix is a perfect soundtrack for chillout Sunday.

Roshi’s eponymous debut album moves through different genres of electronic dance music skillfully blending influences from stoner rock, electro, techno, drum ´n bass and even dubstep. Roshi builds a multilayered musical experience providing new aural dimensions with each listening.

The album features noted guests, among them Finnish rapper Redrama, Jere Garcia (Accu), Jan Rechberger (Amorphis), Mikko Happo (Hidria Spacefolk).

Behind the name Roshi is the producer Kristo Tuomi (1975-2009). He has done a respectable over ten year long career in musical production and gained a reputation of being a visionary and uncompromising producer. iDJ Magazine selected him as one of “the ones to watch in 2009”. He has been involved projects such as Koe, The Jar, Roshi & The Junkmen and Stealth Unit Sound Collective. Besides Exogenic Breaks Records he has released on labels such as Botchit Breaks and Nine2Five Recordings. The album is released posthumously.

Vishnudata is a solo project by Finnish producer Valo Lankinen. On the new album Vishnudata creates progressively evolving ethereal atmospheres and airy soundscapes, at times gently rough and at times letting pure joy shine through his music. The album features guest musicians Mikael Ukura on guitar and Suho Superstar on vocals. Like Vishnudata himself, the album resonates the first rays of the morning sunshine with the energy of kicking groovy beats on the ambient backdrops.
